TravelUp

My time at TravelUp was split into two tasks, firstly to optimize conversion rate within the flight booking flow and secondly to bring a fresh look to various parts of the TravelUp website - including search, holidays and flights. I did this by creating multiple components that could be reused across the products.

USP Banner

The USP banner was designed to showcase TravelUps unique selling points to the users without resulting in content lost beneath the fold. I designed this banner to be compact, eye-catching and versatile.

Search

One of the main ways we improved conversion and pushing people into the booking flow was invoking emotion with a bright and attractive search panel. People love the sun & the sea, so in order to get people invested into booking a trip I decided to go bold with the imagery. I also managed to get the search form from 8 fields down to 5 which massively reduces friction for the user.

Destination Cards

For those who are purely browsing the website, I wanted to incite the urge to explore. For this, I create destination cards which can be seen below. They use bold imagery to entice the user to explore various different destinations available to them.

Holiday Cards

Holiday cards are a component I created which contain all the information a user needs to know in order to make the decision to book a holiday. The key here was to squeeze all of the important information into a small compact space without cluttering the view. It was vital that the cards remained easy to read at a glance. The bright star rating, big blue price, bold imagery and clear CTA all make this possible.
